BBC Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills traveled to Uganda and came out to people for the new BBC Three documentary, The World's Worst Place to Be Gay?
Mills spoke with homophobic leaders including the Pentecostal preacher Solomon Male, and endured a session with a witch doctor who attempted to "cure" him. He also interviewed gay Ugandans forced to live in slum conditions and spoke with parliament member David Bahati, author of the bill that would impose the death penalty on gay people. The politician called for his arrest.
