After lackluster receipts last year, the all-woman Lilith Fair festival is calling it quits for good, founder Sarah McLachlan announced Sunday.
"It's done," the Grammy-winning singer told Canada's Globe and Mail. "And that's okay. It's actually a good thing."
The singer said tastes had changed since the previous Lilith Fair festival in 1999. McLachlan is open to a new venture that takes cues from the female-driven tour, which had featured artists such as Sheryl Crow, Lauryn Hill, and Deborah Cox.
