A free iPhone app created last month by the "ex-gay" group Exodus International continues to draw outrage from LGBT activists who demand that Apple pull it from its online store.

As of Monday morning, a Change.org petition started by Truth Wins Out has drawn more than 90,000 signers calling for Apple to remove the app, which includes news and events information from the ex-gay ministry.

Should the company refuse to do so, Truth Wins Out executive director Wayne Besen said in a Friday statement that the group would protest in front of Apple headquarters.

"We will take steps to ensure that Apple meets the victims of 'ex-gay' ministries and learns how their lives were destroyed," Besen said. "It is astounding that Apple would allow an app from an organization that promotes gay exorcisms, demonizes LGBT people, and is rejected by every respected mental health association in America."

The Change.org petition is available here.
