Sugarland lead singer Jennifer Nettles doesn't pull any punches when she reveals her girl crushes in a new interview. She's big on thespians and Brits.
"I love Meryl Streep," she says. "I have this thing for British women. I love Judi Dench. I love Helen Mirren. I love these women, and I definitely do have big girl crushes on them."
In the interview with South Florida Gay News, Nettles talks also about homophobia in country music, saying as much as it saddens her, she thinks it would be hard to come out in such a conservative arena. But she says she thinks it would be hard for any artist.
The singer goes on to praise Adam Lambert ("I have needed a sexy man to wear eyeliner since The Cure") and make a bid for a role on Glee -- perhaps as Kurt's mom.
