Whether legitimate or a stunt for ratings, the presidential bid of Donald Trump has got the businessman and TV personality talking policy, including LGBT marriage equality: He's against it. But he may soon be finding out that discrimination is bad for business.
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is asking supporters to boycott Trump's enterprises, including his TV shows, hotels, resorts, and golf courses, in a campaign called "Tune Out Trump," according to Chicago Pride. GLAAD reports that Trump is opposed to gay marriage ("I'm not in favor of gay marriage. They should not be able to marry," he has said), civil unions, and medical benefits for same-sex partners.
