Grammy-winner Lady Gaga may just find some more little monsters in Springfield soon. Yeardley Smith, who plays Lisa Simpson, told Broadway.com that Gaga will be guest-starring on The Simpsons' upcoming season.
"This is extraordinary!" Smith said. "I'm stunned that she has time in her schedule that she's coming to our studio to record. She's playing herself, and [The Simpsons' writers] describe her as the happiest, most optimistic person in the world. She comes to Springfield to try to cheer up Lisa, but she can't."
Gaga's animated alter ego previously appeared on the series as Elton John's Golden Globes award ceremony date, but it wasn't voiced by the "Born this Way" singer.
