Chaz Says Ablow Is Using Him to Further His Career

While appearing on The Joy Behar Show, Chaz Bono says Fox's Keith Ablow is creating controversy over Bono's appearance on Dancing With the Stars to further his own career.

Bono refers to Ablow as a "right-wing activist first and foremost, who happens to be an MD." Behar asks Bono what he thought when he first read all the negative commentary from Ablow, including his telling parents not to let their children watch the prime-time dance competition. Bono answers, "He isn't one of my favorite authors, so I don't read him."

Behar asks if the criticism has hurt his feelings. "It doesn't hurt my feelings at all," Bono says. "He's got an agenda and he's jumping all over this to further himself and his career."

Dancing With the Stars will have its season premiere Monday on ABC. Watch the interview below.
