Mariah Carey and Hillary Clinton

And Twitter is exploding.

Stop the gay presses: Hillary Clinton has met Mariah Carey -- at a Barbra Streisand concert.

The elusive chanteuse encountered the Democratic presidential nominee and her husband at the Saturday night event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

"An honor to meet President Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton!" Carey tweeted Monday alongside a photograph of the First Family that should have been. "Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for our country."

However, the stan-dom was not one-sided. Clinton replied to Carey's tweet with a royal decree. "The honor is ours; it's not every day you meet a queen," she declared along with a crown emoji.

This is not the first time Carey has met Bill. She shook hands with the former president onstage at VH1's Save the Music Event in 2001.

However, the diva's meeting with Hillary sparked much love from their followers -- with some interpreting Carey's caption as subtle shade against President Trump.

Streisand also posted a picture with the Clintons -- and was more overtly political in her caption.

Cementing her concert as the gayest event of 2019 thus far, Streisand also posted photographs with Carey and a number of other LGBTQ people and allies attending her Saturday performance, including Rosie O'Donnell, Ben Platt, Whoopi Goldberg, Richard E. Grant, Clive Davis, Sally Field, and Ben Platt. Grant, who portrayed a gay character in the Oscar-nominated Can You Ever Forgive Me?, is one of Streisand's biggest fans.
