What Baz says about this series, "The Temptation of Saint Baz":
"I am obsessed with the beauty, the odd -- the uncomfortable, and the danger. I feel safe in the shadow but am always leaping toward the light. In this series, I explore my sexuality, my shame, and my self-judgment. I transform ordinary spaces into a theater stage. Light helps me tell the story by using color and spotlight to illuminate aspects of the psyche. I am interested in watchers and saviors and the weightiness they impose. Look into the shadows; often they will be your teacher."
