These photos may look easy. They are not. We know from years of experience that to get even amazing looking guys to relax and just "be" in front of the camera demands that the photographer and the subject relate to each other. Mike Smarro does an clever thing with the guys he works with -- he becomes the mirror of their most idealized self image. "I do this for the fun of it and it turns out that when you love something it's easy to do... and I love photography.I have worked with the most amazing people and have had my work in several magazines, newspapers, online magazines, websites, and galleries. I have won awards and had numerous private shows but it's the work that makes me smile, it's the excitement of the shoot, and the craziness of the day that really matters.
