Instagram Leads to Marriage in 33 Photos

Last fall, our photographer friend Gigi Stoll sent us some juicy photos of a couple of friends who met on Instagram, as the guys are wont to do these days. She was charmed by their story, as were we, and we were doubly charmed by her photos of the young couple at rest and at play.

Well, it's almost 10 months later and Gigi took photos of the lads in the Brambles in Central Park as they prepared to head of to Tulum, Mexico to seal the deal and get married.

We are suckers for a romantic story, and we think Instagram as a dating service is pretty swell. After all, we are our photos in this digital age.

Below from Gigi's original story about the boys: "I've been photographing Alon, since I met him at Indochine this past New Year's. He is a trainer and every time he comes to visit from Tel Aviv, we do a shoot for my body series. This time he brought his new lover, Jonathan Jenvrin, who is a professional dancer and lives in Paris. They have been together for six months. They met on Instagram."
