San Francisco Pride's motto this year was “Racial and Economic Justice,” though Black Lives Matter would eventually bow out of participating as a grand marshal over concerns about the increased police presence in response to Orlando. Other celebrity grand marshals were the cast of Transcendent, chef Melissa King, and actor Michael K. Williams. The ramped up security came with an equally strong presence of support for Orlando in the crowd, including marchers holding large posters of the victims, and a memorial made up of full-size coffins. Thanks to Tommy Wu for being there to capture these images.
