The out Olympic legend dispenses his considerable wisdom on the coming-out process for athletes.
Greg Louganis is one of the most celebrated athletes in the world, winning four gold medals for America at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Games (he also took home a silver in 1976). After testing HIV-positive in the late '80s, Louganis came out and quickly segued to LGBT advocate.
Louganis sat down with Charley Walters on a beach in Rio this week to discuss the pitfalls and pleasures of coming out, as well as (finally) being honored with a Wheaties box and posing (naked) for the ESPN body issue.
