2010's Most Googled Gays

A person’s “Googlability” is a modern day popularity contest. Find out who made the cut in our second annual list of the most Googled gays and lesbians.

A person’s “Googlablity” is a modern day popularity contest. Last year, we began compiling the most Googled gays and lesbians in the U.S. This year, heightened visibility in the media invited unique results. This time around, with stricter guidelines, we kept our list limited to only out people (Sorry Mr. Cooper, maybe next year?). Thanks to hit television series’ (Three of our top 20 are of Glee fame), world tours, and self-branded blogs, the list took a turn from last year, and some of the results even surprised us. Check out who made the list in 2010’s most Googled gays and lesbians.

"we began compiling the most Googled gays and lesbians in the U.S." They say US right there, 2nd sentence... Not sure why they didnt choose worldwide, but none-the-less the list is 100% accurate. You guys just cant read!

Jonathan Groff is doing Deathtrap in London.He's costarring with Simon Russell Beale and Estelle Parsons. I saw it last Monday night, but his cover went on. The production wasn't especially good either. However, after 58 years, The Mousetrap is still terrific and End of the Rainbow with Tracie Bennett as Judy Garland was outstanding! Let's hope they bring it to Broadway. Tony Award? I think so!

Fortunately, happily, I have never heard of most of the people listed in your top 20 including Perez Hilton. I live well and successfully without the need to be involved in contemporary, and often shallow, culture.

Your list is all wrong. If you meant "in the USA" you should have said that. This list is way off the actual figures worldwide. Perez doesnt even make the top 10. I don't live in the US so if you are only talking about the US it's not relevant to me. However, the rest of the world is googling Adam Lambert like mad and have placed him in the top 10 of ALL celebrity googles two years in a row. And they don't give a toss about Perez or his picture of Miley Cyrus's pink bits (which is the reason so many yanks googled Perez). Why is America so convinced that it represents the entire world? As far as I can see, when it comes to giving Adam Lambert and other talented musicians/aritsts the acknowledgement they deserve America is lagging far behind the rest of the world.

Is "Perez Hilton" considered a person or a web site? Wonder where Mario Lavandeira shows up on this Google list? It's not really fair to compare a web site to a person. Adam Lambert is the #1 gay person searched World Wide and in the USA. Also he is tied with Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton for 7th place of all celebrities searched on Google in 2010.

YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!!!!! THIS INFORMATION IS FALSE!!!!!! Change the search from the "United States" to "Worldwide" and you will see that Adam Lambert, being the worldwide star that he is, has been google searched far more than Perez Hilton.
