Beyoncé and Lady Gaga Unite

LADY GAGA BEYONCE X390 (GETTY) | ADVOCATE.COM

Gay-friendly performers Beyoncé Knowles and Lady Gaga are currently working together on Beyoncé’s upcoming music video “Video Phone.” The two began working on the production last week and security has been tight.

Details are slight, but according to Life & Style magazine, "Beyoncé wears a feathered dress. And of course Lady Gaga wears something wild.”

Lady Gaga, who spoke and performed at the National Equality March in Washington, D.C., last weekend, has been vocal about her appreciation for her LGBT fan base. While at the march, Gaga told OURsceneTV, “The gay community has been the most loyal and wonderful support of not only my career, but as friends to me my entire life.”

Gaga previously expressed her admiration when she recieved an MTV Video Music Award in September for Best New Artist. While accepting the honor, the performer, known for her wild costumes and offstage antics, dedicated the award to “God and the gays.”

Beyoncé also has spoken out in support of her gay fans. “I have never judged anyone based on his or her sexual orientation and have no intention of starting now,” the "Single Ladies" crooner wrote in a statement on her website in 2003 after The Sun accused her of homophobia. “I have a lot of gay and lesbian fans and I love them no differently than my straight fans."

While there is no official premiere date for the video, the single was released to radio on September 22.

Frankly, I would credit Lady Gaga with more taste than to collaborate with Sasha Fierce, who happens to be the most overrated music personality of the decade. Didn't Sasha Fierce say once that she "WANTED" to be a gay icon? You don't WANT to be a gay icon. That's just tacky.
