Vilanch lines up acting, writing gigs

Variety’s Army Archerd reports that Advocate columnist Bruce Vilanch will appear in the TNT Christmas movie Call Me Claus as “a Santa Claus wanna-be” opposite Whoopi Goldberg. And as if Vilanch’s schedule weren’t already filled with his one-man show and his writing chores on the upcoming Academy Awards, he is also working with Pamela Eels on a sitcom pilot for CBS.
