Cast and crew members from Kiss of the Spider Woman are being lined up for the American Cinematheque screening at Hollywoods Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles on July 19. So far, screenwriter Leonard Schrader and producer David Weisman are scheduled; additional guests will be announced as they are confirmed. Spider Woman was a surprise hit during its initial release in 1985 and won an Oscar for William Hurt in the role of a gay window dresser sharing a jail cell with a failed revolutionary, played by Raul Julia. The Egyptian Theatre is located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd. For further information, call (323) 466-FILM or go to www.egyptiantheatre.com.
