During the March 22 episode of Anderson Live, the openly gay talk show host was all smiles when he met the most sullen sensation of the internet – Grumpy Cat.

However, the cranky kitty (whose real name we’ve learned is “Tardar Sauce”) was less than impressed with the silver fox, naturally.

Nevertheless, the famous feline’s guardians were happy to speak with Anderson Cooper about how their frowning furry friend became one of the most loveable LOL-givers on the web.
