Luka Rocco Magnotta Maybe Linked to Miami Killing

Porn star Luka Rocco Magnotta, accused of butchering, eating, and mailing body parts of his partner, may be connected to the murder of a young Guatemalan man in Miami.

Osben Laparra, 21, disappeared after leaving a Miami nightclub in March 2009; his body parts washed ashore three days later in Biscayne Bay. Magnotta had posted on the website MiamiBeach411, insinuating he was in the city at the time.

While Magnotta's IP address appears to show he was actually in Toronto when he posted on MiamiBeach411, local police are seeing if they can connect Magnotta to Laparra's murder. Magnotta, arrested in German last week on charges of brutally killing his Chinese-born partner, could also be connected to the murder of a gay man killed near the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles.
