Justin Cannon, featured in a July 2005 issue of The Advocate as a Future Gay Hero, has launched www.Cross.2Freedom.com, an online Christian gay book, music, and video store.

The site sells books on homosexuality and the Bible, DVDs on being gay and Christian, and music from Christian pop singers Jason & deMarco. Cannon explains, "My hope is really to introduce people to the vast assortment of resources available to us. So many people do not know there are so many books on being gay and Christian."

Cannon, 22, is a seminary student and hopes to become a priest in the Episcopal Church. He wrote a booklet in 2005 arguing that the Bible doesn't condemn gay people. The booklet is available at www.TruthSetsFree.net. He also helped establish the first gay Christian personals site, www.rainbowchristians.com. (The Advocate)
