Marines Receive Gay Acceptance Training

With a target completion date of June 1, the U.S. Marine Corps is in its final stretch of training for “operation openly gay soldiers.”
To prepare the military for the end of “don’t ask, don’t tell,” the latest round of training “asks Marines to consider their reactions to a range of scenarios, including seeing a fellow member holding a banner promoting gay rights as he or she participates in a parade,” reports Forbes.com.
Members of the 1st Marine Logistics Group were expected to report to class Thursday at Camp Pendleton.
