The very handsome Joe D. Martinez stars as a cowboy, beach boy, playboy, and more in Olympia, Volume 1, a new photography monograph by Josh McNey. The first in a trilogy, the 140-page volume is a visually sumptuous rumination on the male form that follows in the tradition of Bruce Weber’s Chop Suey Club and the famed male physique photos by Bruce Bellas and Bob Mizer.
Josh McNey is an artist and creative director based in New York and Los Angeles. The California native is a former Marine and graduate of Columbia University. His photography regularly appears in international art and fashion magazines, and his artwork has been shown around the world.
