BBC News reports that Belgian authorities have seized a shipment of forged Tintin comic books that feature the cast of the classic comic on a sex tour in Thailand. Undercover police nabbed about 650 copies of a comic book called Tintin in Thailand; three men were arrested but later released from custody. The contraband comics feature Tintin engaging in homosexual acts in a bar while his fox terrier companion, Snowy, performs similar acts with a Siamese cat. Other scenes in the book show Tintin and his friends Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus on a pub crawl in Bangkoks notorious Pat Pong district. The publishers of the real Tintin, created by Belgian artist Herge, notified the police that a man calling himself Bud E. Wyser was offering distributors a previously unknown Tintin book. Brussels police sent in an undercover officer, who posed as a prospective buyer for the comic books.
