Variety reports that out producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Me and My Shadows: Life With Judy Garland, the upcoming film version of Chicago) have sold a pilot to ABC for the 2002-2003 season. Zadan and Meron's Storyline Entertainment is producing Veritas, a drama about a father-and-son team of archaeologists in the Indiana Jones vein. The project will be Storyline's first attempt at a prime-time series under the company's overall deal with Touchstone Television. Zadan called the pilot script "fun entertainment but not mindless entertainment. There's nothing on television like it. It has the combination of being very smart and very commercial with a tremendous amount of visuals, action, and adventure."
