Variety reports that omnisexual Scottish actor Alan Cumming has joined the cast of Nicholas Nickleby, a new film adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel by writer-director Doug McGrath (Bullets Over Broadway, Emma). Among Cumming's costars will be Charlie Hunnam (Queer as Folk, Undeclared) in the lead role and Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot). Cumming's first novel, Tommy's Tale, will be published this summer by ReganBooks/Harper Collins.
