In the Life Media, Inc., producer of In the Life, the gay and lesbian national television newsmagazine, announced Wednesday the promotion of Andrea Swift to executive producer. Swift was the director and the series producer for the show, which is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. She replaces executive producer Charles D. Ignacio, who has resigned from the show to pursue independent projects. Swift is an award-winning independent filmmaker and graduate of Columbia University's film division and has been on staff at In the Life since August 2000.
