Jinks and Cohen to produce Us for MGM

Openly gay Oscar-winning producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen (American Beauty and the upcoming Down With Love) will produce Us, a sci-fi thriller written by Nicholas Kazan, for MGM, reports Variety. The script deals with two siblings who discover their grandmother's diaries, which reveal that the two are part alien and that aliens will soon take over the world. Kazan's credits include At Close Range, Reversal of Fortune, and Enough.
