Out actor John Benjamin Hickey to play gay in a new sitcom pilot (8157)

Openly gay actor John Benjamin Hickey (Changing Lanes, Love! Valour! Compassion!) has been cast in an ABC sitcom pilot, reports Playbill.com. Hickey will play one of a pair of gay parents on the as-yet-untitled show, whose writers include out Chicago executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.
