MSNBC.com columnist Jeannette Walls reports that Penelope Cruz will be caught in an on-screen love triangle with Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend in the upcoming film Head in the Clouds. Cruz will play a gypsy who has an affair with a bohemian photographer (Theron) in pre-World War II Europe. Townsend plays Theron's boyfriend, who he happens to be in real life. Theron will also be involved in a lesbian relationship in Monster, in which she will play serial killer Aileen Wuornos. Cruz, meanwhile, remains involved with actor Tom Cruise, who is known for initiating lawsuits against publications that address gay rumors about him.
