       Out producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen (Down With Love, American Beauty) made a personal seven-figure deal with Steven Spielberg to bring The Rivals to DreamWorks, according to Variety. The script, by Robin Swicord (Matilda, Little Women), deals with the rivalry between 19th-century stage legends Sarah Bernhardt and Eleonora Duse. Spielberg is said to be considering directing the film.
