The Sundance Channel will honor one of the great gay geniuses of world cinema with "Directors We Love: Fassbinder," a retrospective of four films by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, throughout the month of September. Restored versions of Veronika Voss, The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, The Marriage of Maria Braun, and Ali: Fear Eats the Soul will air for the first time on U.S. television on Wednesday nights (Check local listings.)
