       The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation announced Monday that it will honor Bravo, Time Inc., Ford Motor Company, and Daily Variety at the eighth annual GLAAD Fairness Awards, which will be held in New York (on October 15) and Los Angeles (October 29). The Fairness Awards recognize long-term commitments made in the area of equal rights, particularly institutions and individuals from the profit and nonprofit sectors who have taken active, front-line positions in the battle for fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendereds.

        Global pop star Demi Lovato will perform at the 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 5 in Los Angeles, with actor and producer Jonathan Bennett returning to host a ceremony that will stream exclusively on Hulu later this month, GLAAD announced Monday.
