British comedy duo Little Britain--gay performer Matt Lucas and straight comic David Walliams--have set a sales record in the United Kingdom with their new DVD, a fund-raiser for Comic Relief. BBC News reports that the retail chain HMV has sold 110,000 copies of the DVD in four days, a new record. The video features guest appearances by Robbie Williams (in drag), Elton John (interviewed by Lucas's Welsh character Daffyd, "the only gay in the village"), and George Michael. This year's Comic Relief charities will help to fight poverty and social injustice in the United Kingdom and Africa. Little Britain airs in the United States on BBC America.
