A plethora of new DVDs released Tuesday, February 7, have strong appeal for queer audiences. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment offers the Cary Grant Box Set, featuring five classics from this queer icon of Hollywood's golden age, including the DVD premiere of Holiday, directed by George Cukor. The sexy musical comedy Cote d'Azur (Strand Releasing) offers a delicious romantic farce featuring gay and straight characters set against the gorgeous Mediterranean coast. Two new documentaries celebrate gay musicians: Peter Allen: The Boy From Oz (Acorn Media Group) examines the life of the Australian pianist and vocalist who became a worldwide sensation, while Wallowitch & Ross: This Moment (Ariztical Entertainment) captures the longtime on- and off-stage partnership between legendary cabaret performers John Wallowitch and Bertram Ross.
