Trapped, an original film for gay cable network Here, will begin principal photography in the Turks and Caicos Islands on February 22. Slated to air later this year, the queer thriller stars Alexandra Paul (Baywatch), Nicholas Turturro (NYPD Blue), Dennis Christopher (Breaking Away), and lesbian actress Michelle Wolff (Mango Kiss).

In the film, Alexandra Paul plays Samantha, an Internet security expert juggling work, her relationship with her girlfriend, and raising her 16-year-old daughter, Gwen. On their way to a spa, Samantha and Gwen are kidnapped in a plot to uncover a woman hidden in the Witness Protection Program. According to a statement from Here, "In a race against time, Samantha must break free of her kidnappers, save her daughter, and foil [the] plot to hunt down and kill the witness."

Other original programming on Here, which is available nationwide via satellite and as a subscription video-on-demand service, includes the film series John Waters Presents Movies That Will Corrupt You, the soap opera Dante's Cove, and Third Man Out: A Donald Strachey Mystery, starring Chad Allen as a gay detective.
