Trapped, an original film for gay cable network
Here, will begin principal photography in the Turks and
Caicos Islands on February 22. Slated to air later
this year, the queer thriller stars Alexandra Paul
(Baywatch), Nicholas Turturro (NYPD
Blue), Dennis Christopher (Breaking Away), and
lesbian actress Michelle Wolff (Mango Kiss).
In the film,
Alexandra Paul plays Samantha, an Internet security expert
juggling work, her relationship with her girlfriend, and
raising her 16-year-old daughter, Gwen. On their way
to a spa, Samantha and Gwen are kidnapped in a plot to
uncover a woman hidden in the Witness Protection
Program. According to a statement from Here, "In a
race against time, Samantha must break free of her
kidnappers, save her daughter, and foil [the] plot to
hunt down and kill the witness."
