Among the many
offerings on TV this Easter weekend are three standouts:
Logo premieres the 17th Annual GLAAD Media Awards
on Saturday, April 15, at 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.
Guests include Charlize Theron, the cast of Will &
Grace, Jake Gyllenhaal, and many more. Also on
Saturday, at 12 p.m. Eastern/Pacific, is the "Gay Rights"
episode of The ACLU Freedom Files on Court TV, which explores real-life stories of
men, women, and families who have suffered discrimination
based on sexual orientation. Created by Robert Greenwald
(Outfoxed, Unprecedented, Wal-Mart: The High Cost of
Low Price), the show will feature the ACLU's Anthony
Romero and lesbian comic Judy Gold.
Finally, there's
the acclaimed mob drama The Sopranos, airing Sunday, April 16, at 9 p.m.
Eastern/Pacific. Married mobster Vito was spotted in a
gay bar by two other goodfellas and was last seen holding a
gun in a motel room. Will he commit suicide? Or
silence the men who know his secret? (The
Advocate)
