Etheridge, Michaels to be mommies

Out rock star Melissa Etheridge and her partner, actress Tammy Lynn Michaels, will soon have their hands very full: The busy couple is expecting twins this fall.

Michaels is carrying the twins, who were conceived through an anonymous male donor according to Etheridge's Web site, www.melissaetheridge.com. The famous couple asked that no gifts be sent, but if any are, they will be donated to a women's shelter. Well wishes, though, will be gladly accepted.

Etheridge and Michaels are already parents to two children borne by Etheridge's former partner, Julie Cypher, and artificially inseminated by musician David Crosby. (The Advocate)
