Nominations for the Commercial Closet Association's Images in Advertising Awards--which honors truthful portrayals of gays and lesbians in mainstream advertising--were announced Thursday, with campaigns from Focus Features, Diet Pepsi, and L'Oreal getting nods.
VH1, T-Mobile, Subaru, Orbitz, MTVu, Key West, Focus Features, Diet Pepsi, and Focus Features' campaign for Brokeback Mountain were all nominated for Outstanding Commercial. Other categories--which include Outstanding Print/Outdoor advertising and Outstanding International Commercial--include nominations from companies like Dolce & Gabbana and Showtime networks.
