Out actor Rupert Everett got himself into hot water when he appeared on a U.K. radio show, reports The Observer.

Everett, in an interview with David Cameron on BBC Radio 2, spoke candidly about sex, masturbation, and "getting into actresses' knickers." Everett copped to an affair with Susan Sarandon and other female stars.

Everett, who starred with Julia Roberts in My Best Friend's Wedding and with Madonna in The Next Best Thing, claimed his straight affairs were due to "adventurousness." A BBC spokesman told The Observer they received several complaints about the racy interview, and Everett later apologized. (The Advocate)
