Takei to appear
in hit drama

The hit NBC drama Heroes is adding another member to its ensemble with George Takei, Star Trek's Sulu. Takei, who came out in 2005, will play Hiro Nakamura's father on the show.

According to a November 27 TV Guide interview, Masi Oka, who plays Hiro, said he hopes his character gets to say, "Dad, Sulu is my hero, not you."

Takei will play a Japanese businessman who comes to the U.S. with bodyguards to take his son back to Japan. (The Advocate)
