Showtime is
partnering up with a group of designers to create a
collection of limited-edition apparel and accessories
inspired by The L Word. The collection, which will be
called the "L"ements of Style, will include
sportswear, bags, jewelry, and denim.
The collection
will be available at retailers including Atrium in New
York City; Brown Eyed Girl in San Francisco and Marin,
Calif.; and Duets in Nashville, with more
retailers on the way. The designs will also be sold
online at www.sho.com/site/lword, which features
virtual fashion shows.
At least 10% of
the proceeds will be donated to charity, and 100% of
proceeds from selected apparel items will be donated to
charities including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation and the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation.
