Teen sudser The O.C. and The Megan Mullally Show, a daytime chat show, are the latest programs to be axed by the networks.

The O.C., once a formidable Fox hit and a cultural phenomenon that branded Orange County, Calif., the new epicenter of cool youth, had recently tumbled in the ratings after being moved to Thursday nights and airing story lines that audiences didn't embrace--one being a semi relationship between two female teen characters. The show's series finale will air February 22.

The Megan Mullally Show is the eponymous Will & Grace actress's short-lived gabfest. The show, with a format similar to Ellen DeGeneres's daytime show, didn't catch on with audiences. The Megan Mullally Show's last episode will air January 26. (The Advocate)
