Two actors with Broadway roots but who are known for their television roles will host The Village Voice's 52nd annual Obie Awards. According to Playbill.com, T.R. Knight and Cynthia Nixon have agreed to head the events this May. The ceremony honors off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway productions. The Voice's Michael Feingold will chair the judging panel.
The Obies honor exceptional performances, direction, writing, and design, while also awarding theaters and companies with grants. (The Advocate)
