Carson Kressley
of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy has signed on
to host Lifetime's reality series How to Look Good
Naked, reports Variety.
The new half-hour
series is based on the hit British program that
features one woman each episode who wants a complete body
makeover. The show aims to boost the woman's
confidence and improve her perception of herself
without undergoing plastic surgery, exercise, or dieting.
On the British
series, women submit a photo of themselves in their
underwear, which is then projected on the side of a
building. People walking by are asked to evaluate the
large photo projection and often surprise the women by
complimenting their appearance. Chris Coelen, chief
executive of RDF USA, told Variety that many of
the women in the British version had "a life-changing
experience" by being on the show.
Executive
producers Alex Fraser, Riaz Patel, and Greg Goldman will
start shooting the pilot in late February. (The
