Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal return to Rent this summer

Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal, original cast members of Rent, are returning to the hit musical for a six-week run, July 30-September 9, reports Playbill.com.

Former American Idol finalist Tamyra Gray will join the cast May 29-November 25 as Mimi Marquez.

Rapp played the documentary filmmaker Mark Cohen, while Pascal received a Tony award nomination for his role as Roger.

Rent, written by Jonathan Larson, opened in 1996 and this July is set to be the second-longest running musical on Broadway, when Beauty and the Beast concludes its run. (The Advocate)
