Microsoft has pledged to donate 25 cents for each of the first 1 million downloads of the new Madonna song "Hey You" to the Alliance for Climate Protection. The pop icon is scheduled to perform the single, coproduced by Pharrell Williams, at the Wembley Stadium Live Earth Concert in London on July 7. The MP3 is available at Microsoft's entertainment site on entertainment.MSN.com.

Madonna is one of 18 headliners for the event, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Genesis, and Beastie Boys. Live Earth aims to bring together more than 100 artists and 2 billion people to launch an ongoing mass movement to combat the climate crisis. Concerts will take place in New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro, and Hamburg. (The Advocate)
