POWER UP to honor
10 showbiz lesbians

Ten women will be honored by the nonprofit lesbian organization POWER UP for their efforts in the film industry. An award ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in November will be the seventh for the volunteer-based group, which has had a hand in producing feature films and popular TV shows, and has shown films at the Sundance Film Festival.

Tanya Grubich: president/founder of MyBroadway.com and TMG

Lori Kaye: writer/producer/director

Danielle Knight: vice president of legal affairs, Warner Bros. Television.

Amy M.Lesser: publisher/event producer; founder and editor in chief of GO Magazine.

Jennifer Morris: director of programming for Frameline Film Festival

Jenni Olson: director of e-commerce at WolfeVideo.com

Michelle Paradise: cocreator, executive producer, writer, and star of Exes & Ohs
