MAMA Group, the manager of rock acts Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs, has purchased a 75% stake in London's infamous G-A-Y nightclub, reports Reuters.

The Soho venue, which has hosted performances by such icons as Kylie Minogue and the Spice Girls, will continue to operate. G-A-Y founder Jeremy Joseph, who started the club in 1976, will keep a one-quarter stake in the rowdy disco. (The Advocate)
