"It's the best movie I've ever done," says Sophia Loren of the upcoming film musical Nine, according to Vogue magazine.
Anticipation for Nine, which depicts the midlife crisis of an Italian film director, is already high, with out director Rob Marshall at the helm of one of the year's most pedigreed casts. Academy Award-winning actress and bona fide movie legend Loren makes a rare film appearance alongside fellow Oscar winners Dame Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, and leading man Daniel Day-Lewis.
Nine is adapted from the Tony-winning Broadway musical, which itself is an adaptation of the 1963 Federico Fellini film 8 1/2, and is scheduled for release on December 18.
