Glee star and Emmy winner Jane Lynch said that Julia Roberts is gay during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
According to the Dishrag, Lynch told DeGeneres, in an appearance scheduled to air Wednesday, that she believed it was easier for a character actress like herself to come out compared to an "ingenue" like Roberts.
"So you're saying Julia Roberts is gay?" asked DeGeneres.
Lynch replied, "She won't admit it. I'm here to tell you she's gay."
DeGeneres said it was "great" that Lynch was assisting Roberts with her coming-out and added that she hoped "it doesn't hurt [Julia's] career."
